About
William Reinert, Hollywood Set Decorator
Bill Reinert’s career in Hollywood spanned 5 decades. During those years he designed movie and television sets to turn the movie director’s vision into a physical reality. Often it was for a home interior. Other times it was an outdoor set. Sometimes an elaborate outdoor scene had to be created.
Once he created an Egyptian home from 3000 years ago for the 12-hour mini-series Masada. Another time he created a 1910 bicycle shop. Or he had to decorate a mansion and make it high end and elegant. All were very different. Yet all shared the same expectations…
“I want it done my way, on time, and on budget!”
This would be the words of the director and the production manager. Bill knew that any delay in set design and decorating would hold up the production schedule and costs tens and sometimes hundreds of thousands of dollars for every day late. Bill also knew that any cost overruns could mean no future projects from that director. No one survives in Hollywood for 37 years who doesn’t please the movie and television directors.
Why is this important to you?
Because when you retain Bill Reinert as your designer, YOU are the Director and Bill gets your project done on time, YOUR way, and on budget.
Bill Searches the “World” to find beautiful furniture and great deals for you…
When you’re decorating your home, why limit yourself to what’s on the furniture showroom floor? Or the wallpaper and paint selection in your local Home Depot?
Bill attends the Las Vegas World Market Furniture Show every February to see what’s new, what passe, and what’s available for home and office interior design. Imagine spending a week walking throught 2 buildings 16 and 10 stories tall totaling over 5 million square feet. And every floor packed full of furniture and decorations by every major furniture manufacturer in the world.
Not only does Bill learn what’s new and what’s hot, he also builds relationships with furniture and fabric manufacturers. He often buys furniture for much less than you can locally…and he passes the savings on to you. Normally these savings more than offset your project design fees.
